It can be quite overwhelming navigating the complexities of life alone. You might be seeking support but aren’t sure where to turn. Do you want to bring your spiritual identity questions to a therapist? Would a pastor be more helpful with your existential wonderings? Neither of those options seem to land quite right. You might not even know who to ask to accompany you on the winding, confusing path you’re on. If this situation resonates with you, a spiritual director might be who you’re looking to invite to join you.
Spiritual directors, sometimes also called spiritual companions, are folks who are there to bear witness to your story as it unfolds. We accompany you as you wander the desert of your spiritual quest and remind you that you aren’t navigating this alone. We hold the lantern of hope and are with you as your path illuminates.
How you want to shape our time together is up to you. This is your journey, and I am here to support you. Typically, we will meet for one hour one time a month. I will begin our session with asking you a question like, “How do you come today?” and then we begin walking on your path together, exploring what is alive in you in this moment. I am here listening and witnessing what is emerging in you.
I offer sessions in person if you’re in the Paducah area or virtually. Your story is safe with me. It is an honor to walk this journey with you and I consider our time together sacred and confidential.
